Gerlossteinwand fixed-rope climbing route
The men from the mountain rescue service in Zell have worked hard to set up the Gerlossteinwand fixed-rope climbing route. More than 450 m of cable rope, 300 handholds, 230 cable clamps and 150 tie bars, among other things, have been used to build the route.
The Alpine fixed-rope route is another highlight to bring nature and sports lovers of all age groups closer to our beautiful mountains. Anyone can climb a fixed-rope route if they have the right equipment and know what they are doing: Secured to a cable rope that runs the whole length of the route, you climb up the steep rock face using natural or artificial handholds and steps.
